Sometimes you show up to a car event, and it is underwhelming, the people un-enthused, and the whole thing feels run-of-the-mill. Today was the kick-off event for Das Renn Treffen 2018, and if today was a preview of what tomorrow brings, it will be one hell of an event.

Lining the clean streets of Miami, everything from classic Air-Coolers to modern day marvels, this was truly a sight for any Porsche fanatic.
There is something about this colour that is just, so perfectly Miami to me.

Although I have seen this car many times on Instagram, this was my first time seeing it in person, and meeting the man behind the wheel - Mark (@mark.pribanic). We clearly share the philosophy that cars are meant to be driven -- to say that Mark's 356 has patina would be the understatement of the century as I'm pretty sure you'd be hard pressed to find someone else who drives as much as this guy.
